Law of Attraction Success Story May 28, 2010

Yesterday, I attended an Abraham-Hicks Law of Attraction
seminar and met one of the most powerful woman who had
produced a business out of thin air with her simple, clearly
stated intentions to “do something that engages my creativity
and is fun”, “make more money than I need”, and “have fun
with the people I do business with.” This is the third business
(at least) that she’s super-performed using these clear intentions
and lining herself up with them.
This business was green – so you’ll like it. She saw an
intriguing looking piece of fabric from across the room
at an antique sale, and worked her way over to it. It
turned out to be a grain sack from Europe that the dealer
used to protect the furniture he sent to the show. He had
20 of them he was throwing out. She bought them all for
$20.
A week later someone saw them in her store and wanted
to buy them. At first she resisted, because she thought -
I only saw these once – I’ll never be able to get more. But
she immediately felt the wrongness of that idea – they were
grain sacks from Europe – the entire European continent was
teeming with them.
Well, she went on eBay and found a woman selling one
who told her how to source them herself – which she
did. Then she (who had never owned a computer in her life)
had her son set her up with a wordpress blog and she started
blogging about Grain Sacks. At the same time she started
covering furniture with these sacks as the fabric. (She actually
sold 3/4 of the furniture used in the set design of It’s Complicated,
the recent Meryl Streep movie.) Interest blossomed, she went
through a business model where she was selling onesy-twosies,
rejected that because all the people trying to buy them online were
picky and not fun to service. (Remember her intention was to be
creative and have fun – she held to this intention).
Then she ended up with 3 big customers who were buying from
her in quantity and were fun to work with…and oh, yes – very
profitable. Intention set, allowed, manifested. Beautiful.
Having met her anywhere else, it would have been a story
where you said – “ah, what a wonderful story and how lucky
you were.” Having met her at a seminar dedicated to conscious
creation – talking to her and picking her brain about how she
focused her intentions into clarity, and held them clearly and
then didn’t resist them – allowed them into reality, while sculpting
the details along the way. Mmmm…so good!
